The last time I had CD packaging done for one of my audio CD’s I was absolutely disappointed with the results. I went the cheap way and had a friend do all the inserts and had him purchase the cases himself. In hindsight I realize that this was a big mistake. I know now that you get exactly what you pay for. I had to learn the hard way unfortunately, but you do not. When you are looking at different options for your CD Packaging choose the best option for you that you can afford. The packaging isn’t a part of the process that you want to scrimp on. It’s imperative that you really look closely at the mock up the company provides you and then tell them what revisions you would like to see. They may give you a terribly rough draft but don’t forget that you always have the final say.
